On Old Tallinn Walking Tour you will see all the highlights of Tallinn, and have the opportunity to get into the historical past of our capital.
See the towers and a mighty wall of Toompea castle, drive through high tech district of Tallinn’s City, and get to the districts of wooden architecture of the city.
The old town consists of two parts, the Lower town, and the Upper town – we’ll see both of them. Upper town(Toompea Est.) – the town of noble knights, landlords and soldiers. There we will see two cathedrals, Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevskii and Lutheran cathedral of St. Mary. We will enjoy the panoramic view of the city from one of the viewing platforms of the Upper town. After seeing the Upper town we’ll finish the excursion on the Town hall square.

The itinerary of the tour
10:00 Meeting the guide at the exit gate on the harbor.
10:00-12:00 Tour of the old town on foot. Seeing the Stout Margaret Tower, Pikk Street, Toompea hill (Upper town), Castle – Parliament building, Alexander Nevskii orthodox cathedral, and Dome church, visiting the viewing points with a magnificent panorama of the Old Town. Walking by the Short leg street to the Lower town. We will see St Nicolas, St Olaf, and Holy Spirit churches, Town Hall square and the oldest Pharmacy in the world.
12.30 End of the tour of the Town Hall square. Free time for exploring the old town on own. Time for lunch and shopping.
Getting back to the port on own. Port is 15 min walking distance away.
