3 Day Jewish Heritage Tour
On this 3 day tour you will see the key sights of the city and learn more about the life of St. Petersburg Jewish community. You will visit the Grand Choral Synagogue and the Holocaust memorial in Pushkin town and of course admire at the city’s highlights such as the Hermitage, Peterhof, Catherine Palace and Faberge Museum.
Tour itinerary:
Day 1
9:00 – Meet at the ship
9:00 – 10:30 – Travel to Peterhof. Metro ride. Tour of opulent Metro stations
10:30 – 12:00 – Tour of the Peterhof Lower Fountain park and Upper Garden
12:00 – 13:00 – Coffee/tea break
13:00 – 14:00 – Drive to Catherine palace
14:00 – 16:00 – Tour of Catherine palace including the Amber Room and walk in the park
16:00 – 16:30 – Visit to the Holocaust memorial
16:30 – 17:30 – Travel back to the ship
19:00 – Optional evening program
Day 2
09.00 – Meeting at the ship
09:00 – 11:00 – City Sightseeing Tour
11:00 – 13:30 – Walk on the Palace Square. Tour of the Hermitage museum
13:30 – 14:30 – Lunch at a local cafe
14:30 – 15:00 – Tour of the Church on Spilled Blood
15:00 – 16:30 – Driving in the Old Jewish district. Visit to the Grand Choral Synagogue
17:00 – Return to the ship
Day 3
9:00 – Meet at the ship
9:00 – 10:30 – Visit to the Farmer’s market. A walk in the city center
10:30 – 12:00 – Faberge museum tour
12:30 – 13:30 – Lunch at a local restaurant
14:00 – 15:00 – Private Canal Boat ride in the city center
16:00 – Return to the ship
